When it comes to environmental friendliness, we know the events industry has some serious catching up to do. With a collective contribution of up to 10% of worldwide emissions, our footprint is large.
But Ignite Live is committed to reducing that footprint (and that of our clients) by adopting more planet-and-people-friendly methods of event production. Below are just a few of the ways we’re working towards a more sustainable way of operating.
Being a premium Event Production partner means our clients have access to the finest selection of industry-leading equipment; the best cameras, speakers, lights, controllers, staging, and more.
But we know that housing any stock carries the risk of generating waste, which why we follow strict care and maintenance procedures – to extend lifecycles and boost our ability to recycle (or resell) things when we no longer need them.
We’re also very conscious about sourcing any new equipment and materials. When considering any new purchase or custom creation (like a bespoke backdrop) for an event, we take into account the companies we buy from, the materials used and the predicted lifecycle of any new purchase, to help minimise our carbon footprint.

We are also proud members of One Tree Planted. This means, for every project Ignite Live complete, 5 new trees are planted!
When it comes to the Events’ Industry as a whole, Transport is our biggest carbon emitter. As such, it’s the first place we look to optimise on any job. With good planning, local partner-sourcing, and vehicle sharing, Ignite Live are reducing the amount of fuel used to complete each job we work on. And we hope with our continuous adoption of more environmentally friendly equipment, vehicles and practices, over time we can make a great reduction in our personal climate impact.
Creating mind-blowing events is no easy feat – it takes a certain type of person to sustain a long-career in such a demanding industry. But even the most passionate and talented event professionals need someone to look after them.
At Ignite Live, we work hard to give our staff everything they need – physically, mentally and emotionally – to do a great job. We’re proud to pay above the industry average to our in-house team, and we continue to invest in their professional development.
When it comes to travel, we prioritise health, safety and comfort, so everyone arrives on-site feeling great. Because of this, our team is committed and motivated to deliver the very best service to our clients.
